Every year approximately 400-600 children under the age of 18 die in house fires across the United States. Currently, there is no safe simulation activity to educate children about fire safety in the home (without the danger). The goal of the Fire Safety for Children (FSFC): A Simulation Toolkit project is to provide fire safety education for the home in a mobile Simulation environment for children, and to be initially disseminated through Grand Terrace Elementary School. The objective of the Fire Safety for Children (FSFC) project is to provide and evaluate the effectiveness of the fire safety simulation education for the home within a mobile simulation to children through an evidence-based FEMA toolkit.en_US
